General fund receipt books, 1775-1928.

Receipt books for funds disbursed by the treasurer on warrants issued by the auditor or second auditor. Included are the warrant number, fund or account on which the funds were drawn, the date of the disbursement, and the signature of the payee or his representative. The dates covered are September 6, 1775-September 30, 1807; December 9, 1808; February 4, 1809; August 1, 1812-May 31, 1814; April 1, 1818-April 30, 1819; March 1, 1825-September 29, 1832; October 1, 1835-September 30, 1836; October 1, 1838-September 30, 1846; October 1, 1850-April 1, 1865; October 2, 1865-February 29, 1928.
